About the location

Gacuriro is considered by many as an extension of Nyarutarama. It benefited from a lot of investment (mainly from the Rwanda Social Security Board but also from the private sector) and is home to 4 multi-family developments. The most known is Vision City which includes a large number of townhouses (3 bedrooms all ensuite, rent: 1,200-2000), semi-detached houses (4 bedrooms, all ensuite, rent: 1,800-2,500) as well as 2 and 3 bedroom apartments (rent: 600-1,200) and executive villas (rent: above usd 4,000). The other developments in Gacuriro include: - Umucyo Estate which is a gated community with 3 bedroom houses that are rented between usd 800 and 1,300 - Vision 2020 estate: A cozy little estate with brick houses that you go through when heading to vision city. They are mostly 3 bedroom 2 bathroom double story older houses. Rent here varies between USD 600 and 1,000 - Umudugudu wa Paul (Paul’s estate) is a development of more than 50 houses located in Gacuriro. They were built in 2010 and majority of them are semi-detached houses with 4 bedrooms, all ensuite. The roads are currently paved and this makes it an even more attractive place to live.
